What we offer: Transformative wellness retreat in nature

We offer a range of retreats for individuals, couples and families, including yoga retreats, meditation retreats, mental health retreats, digital detox and silent retreats, couple and family retreats as well as longer customised healing journeys. We are particularly proud of our self-care cooking and baking retreat, based on an idea of previous participants and launched by our chef.

Yoga retreat 

Mehak (breathwork and yoga instructor) and Juliane (MA Psychology & systemic therapist) have been colleagues and friends for many years. Together, they organise our yoga retreat – a combination of breathwork, yoga sessions, group sessions and individual reflection. Yoga allows us to explore the balance in our lives and together we weill move our bodies and inspire our minds to transform our well-being.

Digital detox and silent retreat 

Our digital detox and silent retreats help you to take a step back from the hectic schedule, pressure and stress of your daily lives. Our programmes incorporate mindfulness-based exercises, breathwork, meditation and journaling as well as therapeutic art activities. We will guide you to connect with nature and yourself in daily sunrise and sunset sessions, breathwork and meditations.

Couples Retreat

Our couples retreats create a space for you and your partner to focus on one another and work on the happiness and strength of your relationship. A weekend retreat away from your daily lives is an ideal set up for you to reconnect, address challenges with specific therapeutic activities and set intentions for the way forward. You will be guided through the weekend by our experienced couples therapist Juliane Hoss.

Meditation Retreat 

Our meditation retreat called Breathe & Reflect retreat creates a space for you to unwind, ground and connect with yourself, find balance and reflect on the past, present and future. They guide participants through the natural rhythms of the seasons, encouraging growth, renewal, reflection, and inner peace. Each retreat is designed to align with the energy of its season.

10 Day Heal Retreat

Our healing retreat help you to take a step back from the hectic schedule, pressure and stress of your daily lives – whether it is a single day, a weekend, a 10 Day Heal Retreat or even a longer period of time – we help you to plan and create your own healing experience with us. Our farm is a space for healing in line with your individual needs and you can book your customised get-away or even live and work with us on the farm for a longer time. 

Self-Care Cooking and Baking Retreat

Discover the art of self-care with our unique Cooking & Baking Retreats. Treat your body and mind to relaxing culinary experiences that invigorate your senses and enhance your cooking skills. Time to simply relax and reflect

Nestled in Boukenhoutskloof, Cullinan, just 30 minutes from Menlyn and an hour from Johannesburg North, our farm offers the perfect escape from city life. Surrounded by serene nature, vibrant birdsong, and starlit skies, it’s a place where you can unwind, reconnect with the outdoors, and rejuvenate your spirit. Our main house has three beautifully appointed bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom. We also have two cottages and additional cozy outdoor rooms as well as the option to pitch your own tent and use our facilities.

Costs for our retreats

Costs for the retreats include accommodation, food and facilitation with our systemic therapist and coach – we offer different room options suited to your needs and budget. 

  • R1900 for a room sharing with other participants 
  • R2900 for a single room with shared bathroom
  • R4000 for a single room with on suite bathroom 
  • For couples, you pay R3500 per room with a shared bathroom and R5500 for an on-suite room
  • For the retreats with children, we charge R300 per child
  • For longer retreats, we charge R300 per day in a room sharing, R500 in your own room with shared bathroom and R750 in a room with on-suite bathroom

Our approach, systemic therapy, can help you to take a new perspective

What I love most about the systemic approach is that we focus on your dreams, wishes and inner strengths – not only on your problems or issues. As a systemic therapist, I am curious how far you have come, what is already going well in your life and how we can learn from that. What matters to me is how you are feeling on a daily basis – not how much you achieve, because remember that you are not a self-improvement project. And I want to support you to create a life that you enjoy – not the life you expect yourself to live.  

I chose systemic therapy because I believe we exist with and through the people around us – and I believe we are each other’s biggest treasures and support systems. Feeling connected to our environment, the people around us and ourselves is essential on our journey of healing. I believe we can’t and shouldn’t even try to be strong, independent, in control or solve everything on our own. 

Systemic therapy is a transformative approach to mental and holistic health that focuses on understanding how individuals are influenced by and interact with the systems they are part of—such as families, relationships, workplaces, and communities. Rather than isolating challenges to one person, systemic therapy explores the interconnected patterns, dynamics, and environments shaping your experiences and emotional well-being.
